Introducing…
Your Master of Ceremonies

I am a trans masculine (he/him) circus performer and model specializing in Aerial Lyra, Circus Hoops, and Kinky Dance — which features my innovative Rope Dart Dildo! I started performing at the age of nine in musical theater and moved into circus and burlesque by the time I was nineteen.

Since then, I have trained all across the United States, including at highly prestigious NECCA. I have also travelled internationally to Costa Rica and Montreal to further diversify the study of my craft. My skills as a performer have also earned me acclaim at venues like House of Yes. I have also gained recognition as a producer, having produced eight shows, including one for Fringe Fest.

This year, I am in the midst of producing and starring in a show with The Kinky Kafe that will be featured in New York City’s Queerly Festival. I am also looking forward to more travels abroad, where I can focus on advanced dynamic movement on lyra and broadening my multi-hoops skills!

The Twink

Sugar Hoops

The Twink is a  Clown and a Showboy , the pink and the pretty personas.

The Tramp

Victor Viero

The Tramp is a  Beast and a Gent , hellfire dressed to the nines in a leather tie.

Why two stage names?

In the early days of my career, I took to the stage as Sugar Hoops and ran a “showgirl routine.” For a long time, the sweet and sultry attitude of Sugar was my muse, however, as I started to transition, dressing cutesy made me feel dysphoric. During this time, I chose to stop taking any jobs that required cis drag.

Beyond the challenges that came from my changing gender expression, I was beginning to feel distant from Sugar. I felt somewhat limited, boxed into one thing, and there were more aspects of myself that I longed to present on the stage. I felt indignation and anger at the world for making it hard for me to exist as a trans masculine performer, and that was driving all of my art. I decided to set Sugar Hoops aside for a while, and in the wake of these changes, I found Victor Viero.

Victor became my vessel to express these frustrations, but rage far from the only emotion driving my creativity. This period also came with immense pride and reclamation. In a world and industry that has too often presented barrier to different body, I learnt how to create my own space in society and on stage. Victor allowed me to start boy-lesque and he was everything to me for three years.

As I settled into my new body and gained newfound comfort with my gender identity, I slowly realized how much I missed Sugar Hoops. I have since decided to take my act in two parts: Victor Viero, gentleman Tramp, and the reinvented Sugar Hoops, Twink clown. With the two of them in tandem, I finally feel equipped to express all of the different and unique facets of my personality!
